Ajay Patel, Program Manager of the San Fernando Valley Small Business Development Corporation

Ajay Patel has been named Program Manager of the San Fernando Valley Small Business Development Corporation (dba SFV-FDC), a Certified Development Company (CDC), which administers the Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 Program. Mr. Patel began his career in October 2002 with VEDC (Valley Economic Development Center) as a Senior Loan Consultant assisting small business owners with securing SBA Microloans and Procurement Financing through the SBA 7(a) program.

In June of 2005, he joined Wells Fargo as a SBA Banker for the Los Angeles Region to help build SBA awareness to team members and in the local branches. Over the next two years, Ajay covered all 240 branches in the Los Angeles Metro Area. In November of 2008, Mr. Patel was promoted to Business Development Officer covering the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County. Ajay was part of the Wells Fargo SBA Team that ranked #1 in the Los Angeles District in 2009.

As SFV-FDC Program Manager, Ajay Patel will work with many lenders as he will be responsible for overseeing SBA 504 lending from initial conversations to underwriting and finally closing and funding. It is Ajay's intention to help guide the borrower through each transaction with confidence and security.
